HOW WE GOT STARTED

Located in the heart of the Eastern Upper Peninsula, Jere Farms started in 2013 with the desire to provide the Eastern U.P. with healthy fresh locally grown meats and produce. Dan and Amy could have never expected that the meat sales would have grown into such a large market demand throughout the state of Michigan. The Jere’s quickly recognized the demand and need to provide high quality, pasture raised Beef, Pork, Lamb, Chickens and Turkeys to family and friends as well as residents in lower Michigan.

ABOUT AMY + Dan

Amy and Dan are a husband and wife team that put in countless exhausting hours to run their farm. Jere Farms, can be found in the quaint town of Brimley, Michigan. Being located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan causes the weather to create many challenges, but the nature and beauty found in the U.P. from sunrises to the sunsets is what completes the dream of farming in such a beautiful environment and atmosphere. Amy and Dan are creating an on farm sales platform with the expansion of a full service farm stand that will offer all of Jere Farms products of high quality of meats and naturally homegrown vegetables.

WHERE TO FIND US

Jere Farms can be found at multiple farmers markets in the Upper and Lower Peninsula of Michigan. The Jere’s offer the flexibility to make stops along our route to reach as many customers that want ethically raised meats freshly processed. Jere Farms is open to everyone anywhere and products are sold with no minimum order required. Jere Farms is MDARD licensed for retail piece sale of meat products and processing is done at a small family run USDA facility.
